|During Women’s History Month, it is great to read our March book Sing, Unburied, Sing by Jesmyn Ward, the first woman to win the National Book Award twice for Fiction. “I like to think I know what death is,” Ward begins in Sing, Unburied, Sing. “I like to think it’s something I could look at straight.” Here, Ward mines the rich territory of her Southern upbringing to construct an epic Faulknerian tale. I am very excited to discuss this amazing novel with you!
